ABU DHABI – The Abu Dhabi Media Office has announced the launch of the Abu Dhabi Press Club, a new initiative aimed at strengthening professional collaboration, fostering creativity, and building global partnerships within the media sector.

The club will serve as an integrated platform for journalists and media professionals to exchange knowledge, develop skills, and showcase Abu Dhabi’s success stories on the international stage.

The Abu Dhabi Press Club has been established in line with the emirate’s vision for an innovative and forward-looking media landscape. It aims to position Abu Dhabi as a global hub for creative content production and storytelling. Through its initiatives, the club will highlight the UAE’s pioneering achievements across economic, cultural and developmental spheres, reinforcing the country’s image as a bridge for cross-cultural dialogue and civilisational exchange.

In addition, the club will support media professionals by providing access to specialised training programmes, workshops and collaborative opportunities. These initiatives are designed to enhance professional standards and promote content that reflects the UAE’s national identity, values and creative spirit.

How will it empower media professionals?

The Abu Dhabi Press Club will foster a dynamic and inclusive media community that encourages innovation and knowledge-sharing. It will collaborate with local and international media organisations, academic institutions and research centres to broaden cooperation, exchange expertise and nurture emerging talent. As part of the launch, Abu Dhabi Media Office announced the appointment of Faisal bin Huraiz as Director of the Abu Dhabi Press Club. With more than 20 years of experience across media and academia, bin Huraiz is recognised for his role in advancing the UAE’s media landscape and strengthening professional development across multiple platforms.

Maryam Eid AlMheiri, Chairperson of Abu Dhabi Media Office, said the launch reflects the leadership’s vision for an empowered and creative media ecosystem. She emphasised that the Abu Dhabi Press Club would serve as a professional platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange, supporting initiatives that promote authentic storytelling and creative excellence.
